PETALING JAYA: An extended observation period is needed to monitor the effects of the post-festive and Covid-19 outbreak before any rent rebate can be considered, according to mall owner Sunway Shopping Malls and Theme Parks.
In a statement last week, chief executive officer H.C. Chan said the company is supportive of Malaysia Shopping Malls Association’s call to have a longer period to observe an evolving situation.
