Inceif: Make Islamic finance part of the halal ecosystem


KUALA LUMPUR: Islamic finance should be made part of the halal ecosystem and not as a separate entity as practised in many countries where the industry is a part of the economy.

International Centre for Education in Islamic Finance (Inceif) president/chief executive officer Prof Datuk Azmi Omar said the whole halal ecosystem should be covered to ensure the process is syariah-compliant from end-to-end of the value chain.
