Hong Leong Bank makes small retreat in Q1 profit

PETALING JAYA: Hong Leong Bank Bhd registered a slight 2.6% year-on-year (y-o-y) dip in net profit to RM688.58mil for the first quarter of the financial year ending June 30,2020 (FY20).

This was supported by an improved net interest margin (NIM), coupled with prudent cost control and healthy contributions from its overseas businesses.
