New NAP to be presented to Cabinet next week, Darell says


International Trade and Industry (MITI) Minister, Datuk Darell Leiking said on Wednesday the public will have the opportunity to scrutinise the NAP after the Cabinet approved it.

KUALA LUMPUR: The National Automotive Policy (NAP) 2019 may be presented to the Cabinet next week for approval to enable it to be launched by end-2019.

International Trade and Industry (MITI) Minister, Datuk Darell Leiking said on Wednesday the public would have the opportunity to scrutinise the NAP after the Cabinet has given its approval.

"What more important is that work is in progress because we wanted to add a lot of things," he told reporters after launching the Industry4WRD Summit.
