Region’s biggest steel plant to be built in Sarawak

KUCHING: A steel manufacturing plant, with a production capacity of 10 million tonnes per annum will be built in Samalaju Industrial Park, Bintulu, within Sarawak Corridor of Renewable Energy (Score).

Billed as the biggest steel plant in the region, the multi-billion ringgit project will be funded by investors from China.
