KUALA LUMPUR: Serba Dinamik Holdings Bhd
has secured a US$250mil (RM1.05bil) contract to build a chlorine processing facility and a 26-megawatt per hour steam turbine power plant in Uzbekistan.
The contract involved the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) of the project.
The contract started on Aug 9 and to be completed by Aug 7, 2021.
“The securement of the new EPCC contract in Uzbekistan will further strengthen our foothold in that region," group managing director and group chief executive director Datuk Ir Abdul Karim Abdullah said in a statement today.
"We foresee this will contribute positively to our financial year ending Dec 31, 2019 and the upcoming two years,” he added.
