SINGAPORE: South-East Asian nations agreed in-principle to adopt cybersecurity rules following major data breaches in countries including Singapore and Bangladesh.
Ministers in the 10-member Association of Southeast Asian Nations agreed to 11 voluntary, non-binding norms of responsible behavior to strengthen cybersecurity, which were proposed by the United Nations in 2015.
