PETALING JAYA: Malaysia’s headline inflation in January is expected to moderate to 2.9% year-on-year (y-o-y), given the lower transport fuel inflation in the month.

In a statement yesterday, RAM Ratings said that the price of goods and services is expected to grow at a slower pace in January compared with 3.5% y-o-y in December 2017.
