KUALA LUMPUR: Mass Rapid Transit Corp Bhd (MRT Corp) has awarded all work packages for the construction of elevated stations for the MRT Sungai Buloh-Serdang-Putrajaya (SSP) Line.

In a statement, MRT Corp said the six elevated station work packages, with a total value of RM1.23bil, were given out during one stop procurement committee (OSPC) meetings in September and October which were chaired by Second Finance Minister Datuk  Seri Johaei Abdul Ghani.

All station work packages are nominated subcontracts of their corresponding viaduct packages.

Work package S204 for the construction of elevated stations at Kuchai Lama and Taman Naga Emas, worth RM199.5mil, was awarded to WCT Bhd.

Apex Communications Sdn Bhd beat two other companies in the Bumiputra Category to win work package S205 valued at RM243.34mil to build elevated stations at Sungai Besi and Serdang Raya North.
