FIC: RM190mil paid for two plots of land


PETALING JAYA: Felda Investment Corp Sdn Bhd (FIC) has clarified that £34mil (RM190.11mil), inclusive of applicable taxes, was paid for two plots of land which house the Felda House and Grand Felda House.

In a statement yesterday, FIC said that during a webcast on Oct 26, Parti Keadilan Rakyat vice-president Rafizi Ramli had alleged that FIC had been defrauded of £14mil (RM78.28mil), as the audited financial statements of FIC for the financial year ended Dec 31, 2014 disclosed that the land price was £34mil.
