Hovid receives voluntary takeover offer


PETALING JAYA: Pharmaceutical company Hovid Bhd has received a voluntary offer from its single-largest shareholder to take the company private for a total value of nearly RM243mil, or 38 sen per share.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Hovid announced that Fajar Astoria Sdn Bhd and David Ho Sue San have issued a conditional voluntary takeover offer to acquire all the remaining shares of Hovid not owned by them.
