KUALA LUMPUR: Pelaburan Hartanah Bhd (PHB) and Maybank Asset Management Sdn Bhd on Thursday announced the final income distribution of 3.10 sen per unit for Amanah Hartanah Bumiputera (AHB) for the financial year ended Sept 30, 2017.

In a joint statement, it said the first income distribution of 3.10 sen a unit declared for the six months period ended March 31, 2017 was made in April 2017.

“Thus the total income distribution for the full financial year ended Sept 30, 2017, is 6.20 sen per unit, which is benchmarked against the 12-month Islamic Fixed Deposit-i of Maybank Islamic Bhd,” it said.

The final income distribution of AHB is tax-exempt and payable net of zakat, which would be credited directly into the unit holder’s bank account on Oct 16, 2017.  For the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) Member’s Investment Scheme, it will be credited into the Account 1 of EPF.

AHB is a syariah-compliant real-estate backed trust fund with a fixed-price of RM1 per unit which would enable bumiputra investors to participate in the beneficial ownership of real estate assets  by providing them with a regular and consistent income stream. - Bernama
