Battersea Power Station wins ‘Property Company of the Year’ award

PETALING JAYA: Battersea Power Station has been awarded the “Property Company of the Year” at the Evening Standard’s Business Awards 2017, beating off strong competition from property heavyweights Land Securities, Grainger and Berkeley Group.

In a statement yesterday, Sime Darby Bhd, which has a 40% stake in the Battersea project, said the award was judged by a panel of industry experts, who praised the developer for getting the power station project off the ground after over 30 years of lying derelict.
