Celcom eyes 20% growth in daily subscription


KUALA LUMPUR: Celcom Axiata Bhd hopes to grow its daily subscription by 20% through Celcom EasyPhone, the biggest device installment programme from June 1-July 31, 2017, in conjunction with Ramadan and the upcoming Aidilfitri celebration.

Chief marketing officer, Zalman Aefendy Zainal Abidin, however, declined to disclose the total number of subscriptions currently.

He said through EasyPhone, Celcom was offering the easiest way for everyone to own the latest smartphones from as low as RM25 per month with a 24-month contract.

“Supported by Celcom’s Lightning Fast long term evolution network, customers will be able to enjoy an array of attractive promotions and digital mobile content that will further enrich their memorable festive celebrations,” he told a media briefing on Celcom’s special offerings and promotions here today.

Zalman Aefendy said the telecommunications company will launch a Raya thematic campaign called ‘’Mak Kata’’, to deliver a different perspective on Raya, focusing on advice and words of wisdom from mothers.  

“We also offers our prepaid customers with the choices of ‘’Xpax Raya Freebies’’ ranging from a weekly add on of unlimited calls to 10 friends on any network, or a weekly add on 10GB late night Internet or a RM10 Lazada voucher, form now until June 30.

“In addition, customers will enjoy double Add On quota of up 20GB which includes late night Internet, Facebook and Video Walla when customers purchase our daily and weekly Add Ons via the Xpax App only,” he added. - Bernama
