Serba Dinamik, UK firm plan JV for oil sector services


KUALA LUMPUR: Serba Dinamik Holdings Bhd and a UK company, Nicol & Andrew Group PLC are planning an exclusive service partnership to provide services for the Malaysian oil and gas sector and other industries.

It said on Thursday its unit Serba Dinamik Sdn Bhd has signed a  memorandum of agreement (MoA) with  N &A Group to set out their intention of entering into an exclusive service partnership.

The partnership would be for maintenance, repair and overhaul and “in-situ” or “on site” services for the Malaysian O&G, petro chemical, oleo chemical, marine, plantation, energy, power production and distribution, water and waste water as well as general industries. 

“N&A Group is a company incorporated in the UK and is the designer, operator for 'Orbitool' 'in-situ' or 'on-site' patented machining solutions for rotating and static equipment,” it said. 

Serba Dinamik said Orbitool is a revolutionary patented machining devise that rotates around the shaft, producing a faster and more accurate and efficient end result. 

Serba Dinamiik said the agreement would be five years with from April 19, 2017 and may be extended for a further period of three years.

“The MoA will provide the opportunities for Serba to strengthen and broaden its capabilities as the total services provider for MRO activities in the oil & gas, petrochemical, power generation, water and wastewater and other general industries,” it added.
