Puncak Niaga appoints chairman’s son Azlan Shah as acting MD


KUALA LUMPUR: Puncak Niaga Holdings Bhd (PNHB) has appointed Azlan Shah Rozali as its acting managing director effective Aug 3, 2016, to replace Datuk Syed Hisham Syed Wazir, 62, who is resigning due to health reasons. 

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia on Tuesday, PNHB said Azlan Shah, 30, the eldest son of PNHB’s executive chairman Tan Sri Rozali Ismail, was currently an alternate director to his father.

Among the key positions Azlan Shah held previously were head of information technology department at PNHB, general manager of information technology department of Puncak Niaga (M) Sdn Bhd, and executive at Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd in the human resources and administration, finance and accounts and management district offices.

Azlan Shah holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business and Marketing from Middlesex University in London, United Kingdom. - Bernama
