As of 9.14 am(0114gmt), the ringgit appreciated to 3.8580/8630 against the greenback from yesterday's close at 3.8870/8940.
KUALA LUMPUR : The ringgit opened easier against the US dollar in the early session on profit-taking, dealers said.
At 9.02 am, the local note stood at 3.9020/9120 against the US dollar from 3.8800/8870 on Friday.
