Hong Leong Connect available on Apple Watch

KUALA LUMPUR: Hong Leong Bank Bhd (HLBB) has introduced a Hong Leong Connect mobile banking app for the Apple watch that will allow its customers to view balances of their savings, current and credit card accounts on their wrists.

However, HLBB said on Wednesday that the Apple watch released in US on April 24, 2015 is available exclusively for online pre-order.

HLBB general manager for digital innovation and transactional banking Galvin Yeo said HLBB wanted to ensure that it is the first bank in the country to provide convenience to its customers.

“Technology adoption is evolving and we take it very seriously. We believe that this digital offering will provide Hong Leong customers with the next level of convenience”, added HLBB group managing director and chief executive officer Tan Kong Khoon.

 HLBB noted that more features would be announced before end-year.
