Rebound imminent

REVIEW: The closely-watched Dow Jones Industrial rose 21.45 points to 18,080.14 while the Nasdaq Composite Index and the S&P 500-share raced to a record closing high on the previous Friday, propelled by strong results from big names in the technology sector, such as Google, Amazon and Microsofts.

Tracking Wall Street’s gains, shares on Bursa Malaysia kicked off the week on a steadier note, with the FBM Kuala Lumpur Composite Index (FBM KLCI) adding 2.11 points to 1,864.69 amid persistent bargain hunting nibbling in the blue chips.
