Sime: CPO price resilient

Mohd Bakke:

KUALA LUMPUR: Sime Darby Bhd expects crude palm oil (CPO) prices to trade between RM2,200 and RM2,500 a tonne up to June 2015, as the commodity is shifting into a low-crop season.

President and group chief executive Tan Sri Mohd Bakke Salleh said the fundamentals underpinning CPO prices remained strong due to the implementation of the biodiesel mandate as well as the price differential with other edible oils.
