Maybank, YTL Corp weigh on KLCI


KUALA LUMPUR: Maybank and YTL Corp dragged the FBM KLCI into the red at midday on Friday in the absence of strong leads from funds while 7-Eleven hogged the limelight during its relisting.

At midday, the FBM KLCI was down 1.72 points or 0.09% to 1,874.9. Turnover was 729.49 million shares valued at RM1.02bil. The broader market was weaker as 358 losers to 285 gainers and 330 counters unchanged.
