Malaysian Flying Academy (MFA) Principal Captain Stephen Michael Terry says the aviation industry is likely to see a much higher demand for pilots by year-end, in line with the industry forecast of the need for 26,000 pilots in South-East Asia over the next 10 years.

KUALA LUMPUR: The aviation industry is likely to see a much higher demand for pilots by year-end, with airline companies struggling to find sufficient numbers to support their operations.

Malaysian Flying Academy (MFA) Principal Captain Stephen Michael Terry said the recovery of the global economy, coupled with rising aircraft orders, would boost the demand for pilots.
