FGV strengthens group with management appointments


KUALA LUMPUR: Felda Global Ventures Holdings Bhd (FGV) has made a slew of management appointments, effective Jan 1, 2014, in an effort to strengthen the company.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, FGV said the new appointments included Fairuz Ismail, as executive vice-president for Transformation Management Office; Abdul Halim Ahmad, as executive vice president, chief executive officer (CEO) of Felda Global Ventures Plantation (M) Sdn Bhd (FGVPM) and head of plantation cluster; and, Farisan Mokhtar, as senior vice president of business development for downstream cluster.
