SUBANG: Malindo Air is celebrating this year’s Malaysia Day by offering 10,000 free seats one-way, with bookings to be made between Sept 13 and Sept 22.
Under the offer, customers need only pay airport tax and fees of RM39 one-way for the domestic destinations covered, and RM75 one-way for flights to Jakarta and Bali.
The free seats are available for flights from KL-Penang/Langkawi , KL-JB, KL-Langkawi, JB- Kota Kinabalu, and KL-Jakarta/Bali, with the travel period covered varying according to the routes.
For the KL-Penang/Langkawi flights, the free seats will be offered for the travel period from Sept 13 to Nov 30, 2013; for KL-JB, it is from Oct 10 to Nov 30; for JB-Kota Kinabalu, from Oct 10 to Nov 30 Nov; for KL-Jakarta, from Oct 23 to Nov 30; and for KL-Bali, from Oct 26 to Nov 30.
“We are indeed very proud to play a part in this year’s Malaysia Day by contributing 10,000 free seats for our customers to ease their travel for the celebration,” said Malindo Air CEO, Chandran Rama Muthy.
“At the same time, Malindo Air is also pleased to announce that we are introducing our new daily flights from Johor Bahru to Kota Kinabalu and vice versa, which will commence from Oct 10, 2013.”
The flight from Johor Baru departs at 9:05am and arrives in Kota Kinabalu at 11:25am, while the Kota Kinabalu departure time is at 12:05pm and arrives in Johor Baru at 2.45pm.
The fares start from RM99, one-way all-inclusive, for economy class, and from RM499 for the business class.
Chandran also said that Malindo Air has added flights from KLIA to Johor Baru, and vice versa.
“This will give convenience to passengers on Malindo Air’s connecting flights from KLIA to Dhaka, Jakarta or Bali. Our passengers’ connectivity from Johor Baru will now be seamless for their onward flights departing from KLIA,” Chandran said.
