Malaysia's economy grew 6.4% in Q4, 2012, fastest in 9 quarters (Update)


KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia's economy grew 6.4% in the fourth quarter of 2012, its fastest in nine quarters since the second quarter of 2010, supported by the manufacturing and construction sectors.

The Statistics Department said on Wednesday, for 2012, the economy expanded 5.6% compared with 5.1% in 2011.
