KUALA LUMPUR: Late selling on index-linked stocks, especially CIMB, pushed the FBM KLCI into the red on Thursday but the broader market improved despite turnover was lower due the current festivities mood.
At the close, the KLCI slipped 0.27 of a point to 1,630.89. Turnover was 679.12 million shares valued at RM1.44bil. However, advancers led decliners 319 to 268 while 287 counters were unchanged.
