KUALA LUMPUR: Blue chips rose at the start of trade on Wednesday, with Petronas-related counters taking the lead, with market sentiment displaying firm confidence following the stronger US and European markets.
At 9am, the FBM KLCI was up 6.98 points to 1,666.42. Turnover was 7.25 million shares valued at RM18.94mil. There were 58 gainers, 17 losers and 70 counters unchanged.
