KUALA LUMPUR: Shares of Axiata, CIMB and Public Bank led the FBM KLCI higher at midday, though the 30-stock index was off its morning high of 1,668, as investors also took profit ahead of the weekend.
At 12.30pm, the FBM KLCI was up 1.06 points or 0.06% to 1,662.53. Turnover was 494.42 million shares valued at RM537.96mil. There were 264 gainers, 299 losers
