Bank Negara to issue RM2b Merdeka bonds

KUALA LUMPUR: Bank Negara will issue Bon Simpanan Merdeka totalling RM2bil in two series to Malaysians aged 56 year above.

The central bank said on Wednesday the first series of the bonds amounting to RM1bil would be on sale from Feb 18 to March 17. The second series of bonds totalling RM1bil would be from May 4 to June 3.
