Seminar to help develop technopreneurs

PETALING JAYA: Several tertiary education institutions and science societies will come together in a seminar in an effort to promote the development of technopreneurs.

The Technopreneur Development Seminar and Study Tour will be held at the Advanced Manufacturing Technology Centre, SIRIM Bhd on Feb 12 and 13 in Kuala Lumpur, WENCOM Career Consultancy said in a statement.

The seminar and study tour is organised by the Institution of Engineers Malaysia and WENCOM, and supported by Universiti Kuala Lumpur, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman, Malaysian Invention and Design Society (MINDS), Malaysian Scientific Association, Institut Kimia Malaysia and IEM Training Centre Sdn Bhd.

The objectives of the seminar include encouragement and development of technopreneurship among scientists, engineers, graduates and final year university students.
