Consumer banking business to contribute more to Bank Muamalat

BANK Muamalat Malaysia Bhd expects revenue contribution from its consumer banking business to grow to 50% by the end of next year from 45% currently, chief operating officer Datuk Abdul Manap Abd Wahab said.  

He was speaking in Kuala Lumpur yesterday after BMMB signed an agreement to be the main financing partner for Cheras Auto City, a grouping of 20 car dealerships occupying 5.2 acres along Jalan Cheras opposite Leisure Mall.
