Philips in deal to expand to east Malaysia

PHILIPS Malaysia Sdn Bhd has announced a business partnership with Pan Sarawak to expand its domestic appliances and personal care products market to east Malaysia. 

General manager of domestic appliances and personal care products, Andrew Eng Soo Wing, said the partnership would enable Philips to bring its products to the east Malaysian market. 

“Philips has enjoyed dominance and much success in west Malaysia but we believe that by intensifying our activities in east Malaysia, we will be able to stimulate the markets and successfully bring innovation to the consumers there,” he said in Sibu recently. 

Pan Sarawak is a leading supplier of products and services involving marine, wood and industrial engineering, air conditioning and ventilation systems, electrical and office automation products as well as information technology. 

It has branches in Kuching, Miri and Bintulu and in Sandakan, Tawau, Lahad Datu and Kota Kinabalu in Sabah besides Labuan, Brunei and Singapore. – Bernama
