LE MERIDIEN Kuala Lumpur, which will open on Oct 8, is targeting guests, mainly business travellers, from China, Japan, Asean and the Middle East.
The RM380mil five-star hotel will work closely with Le Meridien Group's international network to promote itself in secondary markets such as Americas and Europe.
The hotel is designed with the 21st century business traveller in mind and boasts facilities and amenities that add value to every level of business traveller's experience,'' Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur general manager Brian Pirie said.
The newest five-star hotel in the city provides dedicated broadband data port at every rooms as well as wireless connectivity throughout most areas including lobby, ballroom, restaurants, pool deck and bars.
He said its location at KL Sentral made it one of the most accessible hotels in the city and appealing to international business travellers.
Le Meridien's 422-room configuration comprises 101 executive rooms, 142 deluxe, 66 superior, 87 standard, 23 executive suites, two terrace suites and one penthouse suite.
