Hong Leong Yamaha eyes 25% of local motorcycle market

HONG Leong Yamaha Distributors Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Hong Leong Industries Bhd, expects to capture a 25% share of Malaysia's motorcycle market, which is expected to surpass 360,000 units in sales volume this year. 

Hong Leong Industries (Yamaha Division) chief operating officer C.H. Ng said Hong Leong Yamaha believed it could increase its 15% share of 316,692 motorcycles registered last year.
