THE Australian dollar has appreciated almost 28% against the ringgit since the beginning of the year, and is currently at its highest level since October 1999.
The Aussie was quoted at RM2.7403 in early Asia trade yesterday. It peaked at RM2.7533 on Monday, compared with RM2.1433 on Jan 2.
