A test-bed for e-learning

THE memorandum of understanding (MoU) to be signed between the Open University Malaysia and Britain-based University for Industry on Thursday will be a test-bed for the government to gauge and establish regulatory approaches and standards for e-learning.

Official representatives from both schools would sign the MoU during the opening ceremony of the EU-Asia E-Learning 2003 Conference (EAEL 2003), according to project manager from the conference secretariat office, Leong Kin Mun.
