Etiqa offers special waiver for Covid-19 treatment


“We wish to assure that for travelers affected, Etiqa is making an exception to provide the necessary medical coverage for customers who might be needing treatment for Covid-19 while they are overseas, ” said Etiqa Insurance and Takaful group CEO Kamaludin Ahmad(pic).

KUALA LUMPUR: Etiqa is providing medical coverage for selected customers who require medical treatment for Covid-19 during the course of their travels.

In a statement issued yesterday, the insurer said the offer extends to customers who have purchased its annual travel policies or certificates and for those who purchased single trip travel policies or certification prior to the World Health Organisation’s pandemic announcement on March 11,2020.
