MACAU: Macau’s gaming revenue declined for a fifth straight month in October, as weak spending by high-end players offset a surge in Golden Week visitors.

Gross gaming revenue fell 10 per cent to 21.68 billion patacas (US$2.68 billion) from a year earlier, according to data released by the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau on Sunday (Nov 1). That was in line with the median analyst estimate of a 10 per cent decrease, and about 18 per cent lower than the pre-pandemic level in 2019. - Bloomberg
