NEW DELHI: A female monkey video is going viral after the animal reportedly entered a liquor shop at Block Chowk in Ormanjhi, Ranchi, on Friday (Sept 25). The monkey surprised everyone when she drank liquor from a bottle kept inside the shop and later fell asleep there.
Monkey bites shopkeeper, drinks liquor
According to the Aaj Tak report, the monkey entered the shop unexpectedly, leaving the people inside startled. When the shopkeeper tried to drive her out, she bit him, forcing him to move outside.
The monkey then picked up a bottle of liquor and drank from it. After consuming the alcohol, she lay down inside the shop and soon fell asleep.
The unusual incident quickly spread across the area, attracting a crowd outside the shop. People gathered to see the monkey and took photos and videos of the incident.
Rescue team arrives to take monkey away
After the monkey fell asleep inside the shop, a rescue team was informed about the incident. The team reached the spot and began efforts to safely remove the animal from the shop.
The team planned to take the monkey to a safe location without causing her any harm. The incident has since become a topic of discussion in the area, while photos and videos of the monkey inside the liquor shop continue to attract attention online. - The Statesman/ANN
