YANGON (Xinhua): Flights at the Mandalay International Airport in Myanmar are operating normally, according to the airport's Operations Control Center, after a recent drone attack.
Myanmar's Air Thanlwin said on social media that flights originally scheduled to divert to a nearby airport would resume operations at Mandalay International Airport in accordance with original schedules and timetables.
Mandalay's Tada-U International Airport and its surrounding areas came under a drone attack on Thursday, the Global New Light of Myanmar reported.
The drones were intercepted by air defence monitoring systems, with no casualties reported, it added.
Security forces are cooperating with the public to investigate the incident. -- Xinhua
