In conjunction with the celebration of Malaysia Day 2026, legendary local singer Datuk Khadijah Ibrahim will be the main artist in the special event "HI TEA Malaysia Day," which will take place on September 16, 2026, at Steg Hotel Kuala Lumpur.
Organised by Naan Corner Restaurant 1983, this relaxed and family-oriented event combines elements of music, food, camaraderie, and patriotic spirit in a special gathering to celebrate Malaysia Day.
Dato’ Khadijah Ibrahim is expected to take the guests on a nostalgic journey through her popular song performances, making this celebration more meaningful with the artistic and musical touch of one of the key figures in the local entertainment industry.

Also performing are Hairee Kool and Fredo Flybaits as guest artists, while the event will be hosted by actress and presenter Norish Karman as the master of ceremonies.
The event starts as early as 12pm until 4pm with the main performance scheduled for 2.30pm.
"This is a very special day, and we will celebrate in style. It is a day when legends get together, and at the same time music fans can enjoy the best of food during the show," said Khadijah, who is nicknamed 'Ibu Kathy', and the Karyawan chairman and also a major Malaysian music powerhouse since the 1970s.
"So come and join the stars of yesteryear and have a very good time with family on Malaysia Day, a very historic day for all Malaysians.
"It is also a gathering of music fans and friends. I'm very excited about this show as this will open doors for more musicians from the 80s and 90s to show off their skills and talent here in the near future. Karywan is also in full support of such events."

This event also conveys the message that the celebration of Malaysia Day is not just about history and patriotism, but also about unity, togetherness, and community relations.
"The public, especially fans of Khadijah Ibrahim, nostalgia music enthusiasts, and families who want to celebrate Malaysia Day in a different atmosphere, are welcome to attend," said Datuk Parwiz Kausar, the owner and founder of Naan Corner Restaurant 1983 and widely known as 'Mr Boom ' for introducing the popular local dish roti bomb to Malaysian foodies.
"HI TEA Hari Malaysia is an event that promises an afternoon filled with songs, rhythms, delicacies, and camaraderie, simultaneously providing a space for the community to celebrate the spirit of Malaysia together".
