Premium family lifestyle brand Siti Khadijah aims to spread its wings in Nusantara with its new designs

Premium telekung (prayer attire) and family lifestyle brand Siti Khadijah unveils its latest collection, created in collaboration with contemporary batik artist Farah Mohan, through the collection of Embun Fajar by Siti Khadijah.

Inspired by the calm and reflective atmosphere after Subuh, the collection embodies the spirit of new beginnings, hope, gratitude and peace emotions often felt in the quiet moments of the early morning before the day begins. This sense of serenity serves as the inspiration behind every piece in the collection.

The exclusive collaboration showcases Siti Khadijah’s craftsmanship in creating premium telekung, elevated through the artistry of local batik. The collection also represents an appreciation of Malaysian art, heritage and local craftsmanship.

Muhammad Munzir Aminuddin, the Group CEO of Siti Khadijah Group, said that he was confident of bringing the brand to the Nusantara countries such as Indonesia. Singapore, Brunei and even Thailand.

"The new designs are also in collaboration with Malaysia's Merdeka celebrations. It is a very special design for a special day. But, yes, the group is certainly looking at pushing our designs to the Nusantara regions, especially Singapore, Brunei and Indonesia. These are exciting times for the group, and we do aim to continue to grow with our collections in the very near future."

As for the new designs and collaboration with Farah, the drawing inspiration is from nature; the collection features floral motifs including lilies and tulips, symbolising the softness and strength of women. Flowing lines and foliage are incorporated to add depth and character to each design.

While rooted in traditional Malay aesthetics, the motifs are re-imagined through a contemporary lens, creating designs that feel modern while retaining their cultural identity.

Embun Fajar by Siti Khadijah, with the artistic touch of Farah, features a curated range of telekung, womenswear, menswear, tudung (scarf) and prayer mats. Matching motifs are also available across selected womenswear and menswear pieces, allowing families to embrace a coordinated look.

The collection seamlessly brings together fashion, art and everyday functionality.

For those who appreciate distinctive and elegant telekung, the limited-edition Telekung Deco Sutera Mekar is available in only 100 pairs. Crafted from 100% silk, each piece features hand-painted motifs created by talented local artisans.

The telekung is further embellished with delicate gemstones, adding an elevated touch to the overall design. The Telekung Deco Sutera Mekar is priced at RM1,888.

The collection also introduces the Alur Sarung Suri batik, inspired by nostalgic batik sarongs that have been part of Malaysian culture for generations. Designed to be worn as a complementary piece with telekung, the sarong can also be styled and worn in different ways according to individual preference and comfort. It is priced at RM88.

Embun Fajar by Siti Khadijah will be available for pre-order from 13 August to 23 August 2026, with an exclusive 10% pre-order discount at www.sitikhadijah.com. The collection will officially launch on August 21 and will be available at all Siti Khadijah boutiques and official digital platforms.

As part of the collection’s wider celebration of Malaysian culture and identity, Siti Khadijah will take part in the 2026 National Day Parade on 31 August 2026, followed by participation in Kereta Api Sarong 2026 the following month. This is the first time Siti Khadijah will be part of a contingent for the National Day Parade.

These initiatives reflect the brand’s commitment to celebrating and preserving Malaysia’s rich cultural heritage together with the community.

Throughout the campaign, the public will have opportunities to experience the Embun Fajar collection through various brand activities and in-store experiences at Siti Khadijah boutiques. The collection marks another step in Siti Khadijah’s ongoing efforts to champion Malaysian art, heritage and creativity through designs that honour tradition while remaining relevant to the contemporary lifestyle.
