Fast Track Entertainment officially unveils Launchpad, a new artist growth platform in South-East Asia and South Korea

SINGAPORE: Fast Track Entertainment, a subsidiary of Fast Track Group, and its co-brand partner, Sony Music Malaysia, have officially unveiled LAUNCHPAD, a new artist growth platform built around live showcase experiences. The event was held at the PJ Performing Arts Centre in Kuala Lumpur recently.

Built around a series of intimate live showcase experiences, LAUNCHPAD is an artist growth platform designed to accelerate the regional growth of emerging artists by connecting them directly with audiences, media, brands and industry partners across South-East Asia.

Complemented by original digital content, regional media exposure and brand partnerships, LAUNCHPAD creates new commercial opportunities while

supporting long-term artist development beyond home markets. As South-East Asia continues to emerge as one of the world's fastest-growing entertainment markets, many emerging artists still face challenges expanding beyond their home markets due to fragmented media access, limited local partnerships and a lack of regional promotional opportunities.

The Kuala Lumpur event provided media and industry partners with a preview of LAUNCHPAD, showcasing how the artist growth platform brings together emerging artists, audiences, media, brands and industry partners through intimate live showcase experiences.

The artist lineup at the event included: KIIRAS, a six-member global K-pop girl group from South Korea; UPRIZE, a seven-member boy group from Vietnam; and Yusry Abdul Halim, a singer, actor, director, composer and producer from Malaysia under Sony Music Malaysia.

The official programme featured: Official unveiling of LAUNCHPAD;  Welcome addresses by Sony Music Malaysia and Fast Track Entertainment;  Featured appearances by KIIRAS, UPRIZE and Yusry Abdul Halim; Live artist showcase; Exclusive media interview opportunities and Networking session with media and industry partners

Harris Lim, the Chief Executive Officer of Fast Track Entertainment, said: "LAUNCHPAD represents an important step in our vision of building a connected entertainment ecosystem across South-East Asia. We believe artists grow fastest when they can connect directly with new audiences through meaningful live experiences.

"LAUNCHPAD brings this vision to life through intimate artist showcase experiences that connect artists with audiences, media, brands and industry partners.

"Supported by original digital content, brand partnerships and regional collaborations, we're creating new commercial opportunities that accelerate artist growth and regional expansion beyond home markets. This is only the beginning, and we look forward to expanding  LAUNCHPAD across the region."

Kenny Ong, the Sony Music Entertainment managing director for Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, and Special Projects South-East Asia, said following its official unveiling that LAUNCHPAD will progressively roll out showcase editions across South-East Asia from late 2026 through early 2027.

"Each edition will feature intimate live showcase experiences supported by media engagement, original digital content, brand partnerships and audience engagement, accelerating artist growth, strengthening regional visibility and unlocking new commercial opportunities.

"The programme will see top artistes from South-East Asia and South Korea joining in the shows. These are exciting times for music in this region and South Korea," he said.
