For Marsha Milan, the opportunity to share the stage with legendary Indonesian band Ungu at "Ungu 3 Dasawarsa: Special Night in Kuala Lumpur" is far more than just another concert appearance, it marks a deeply personal milestone, as a long-held dream she once quietly cherished is finally becoming a reality.
Set to take place on 5 September 2026 at Idea Live Arena, the concert commemorating Ungu's remarkable 30-year musical journey will feature Marsha as the special guest performer, setting the stage for one of the evening's most highly anticipated collaborations and a memorable celebration for music lovers across the Nusantara region.
Looking back on the moment she received the invitation to join the concert, Marsha admitted she never imagined a simple wish she once kept to herself would one day become reality.
"Honestly, when Pasha performed on GV recently, I was there in the audience. I remember thinking to myself, 'How wonderful would it be if one day I could share the stage and perform a duet with Pasha Ungu.' So when this invitation came, I was genuinely overjoyed. It feels like a small dream I quietly held onto has finally come true," she shared.
For Marsha, performing alongside one of the most influential bands in the Nusantara music scene is both an honour and a privilege. Having grown up listening to Ungu's timeless catalogue, she says their music has become part of the soundtrack to countless lives, including her own.
While her immediate focus remains on preparations for the 40th Anugerah Juara Lagu (AJL40), Marsha is equally committed to ensuring her appearance alongside Ungu delivers an unforgettable experience.
"Both commitments are incredibly important to me. Right now, AJL naturally takes priority because it's happening very soon. Once that's over, we'll have ample time to fully focus on preparing for Ungu's concert in September," she explained.
She also revealed that discussions are still underway regarding the songs for her solo performance, while the choice of duet remains entirely in Ungu's hands.
"I'm still finalising the songs for my solo segment because I'd love to perform a selection of my own music that evening. As for the duet, I've entrusted that entirely to Ungu. Their entire catalogue is filled with iconic songs and timeless classics, including their unforgettable duets," she said.
As for her stage wardrobe, Marsha revealed that while styling has yet to become her primary focus, audiences can certainly expect her signature elegance and distinctive stage presence.
More than simply delivering a performance, Marsha hopes to take audiences on an emotional journey through music, storytelling and memories that have connected generations of fans.
"What audiences can expect from me is a performance filled with heartfelt storytelling and emotion, along with plenty of sing-along moments that I'm sure will bring back beautiful memories. Insya-Allah, I hope everyone will enjoy every moment together. Above all, I hope we can simply immerse ourselves in the music and relive those unforgettable memories through the incredible songs Ungu will be performing," she said.
In addition to performing a selection of their popular hits that have become fan favourites, Ungu will also deliver a special surprise with the first-ever performance of a new song at this concert.

Speaking about her personal connection to Ungu's music, Marsha believes the band's songs have become deeply intertwined with the lives of millions across the region.
"The moment someone mentions Ungu, memories instantly come rushing back. Their songs have become wedding anthems, heartbreak soundtracks, and companions through so many different chapters of life. I'm sure countless people have laughed, cried and sung along to their music, and I'm no exception," she shared.
She believes this is what makes Ungu's 30th anniversary concert especially meaningful. Beyond celebrating the band's extraordinary legacy, it is also a tribute to the countless memories shared with fans over the past three decades.
