This initiative by the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development (KKDW), through RISDA and its subsidiary, RISDA Agri Food Industries (RAFI), was established to provide wider market access for high-quality local products with strong commercial potential.
Visitors can find a wide selection of products under one roof, ranging from fresh produce and frozen foods to pantry staples and everyday household essentials. To date, more than 269 products from RISDA-guided entrepreneurs are available across the RisSMart network, with the number expected to continue growing.
What sets RisSMart apart is that its support goes far beyond providing shelf space. Entrepreneurs receive comprehensive guidance in branding, packaging, marketing, pricing, as well as compliance with quality and food safety standards. This holistic approach enables local products to become more competitive and better positioned alongside mainstream brands.
RisSMart Grocer also embraces a farm-to-market approach, allowing products to move more directly from producers to consumers. This efficient supply chain enables entrepreneurs to enjoy better returns while giving consumers access to quality products at more affordable prices.
