The inaugural 3-day AI Build & Interiors Connect showcase was officially opened to the business community. The event brings together more than 18 curated businesses and industry visitors at CityStage @ KL City Walk, in the heart of Kuala Lumpur's central business district.

AI Build & Interiors Connect 2026 is a focused showcase that brings together construction, interior, smart living, and AI-driven solution providers on a single platform. The event connected industry professionals, businesses, and consumers through innovative products, networking opportunities, and discussions on future-ready spaces and modern living.

Visitors had the opportunity to explore future-ready solutions, discover emerging industry trends, connect with industry experts, and gain valuable insights through exhibitions, AI-IN-ACTION sessions, and engaging panel discussions.

In his welcome address, showcase organiser & founder of Citystage KLCC, Dennis Choy, said that the objective of the event was to showcase innovative AI-driven and modern building solutions.

“We aim to promote knowledge sharing through industry discussions and panels, while connecting the construction, interior, and smart living industry players,” he shared.

“We intend to create networking and business collaboration opportunities and provide a marketplace for brands, suppliers, and service providers for their business growth,” Choy further added.

Visitors who attended AI Build & Interiors Connect 2026 had the privilege of meeting with industry experts and gaining insights from leading voices driving innovation across architecture, interiors, AI, sustainability, and future-ready spaces. They had the opportunity to build meaningful connections with professionals across design, technology, and various businesses and discover fresh perspectives on AI, architecture, interiors, and smart living, while learning from renowned speakers shaping the future of the built environment.

Among the highlights of AI Build & Interiors Connect 2026 were the keynote talks by award-winning architect and past president of Persatuan  Arkitek Malaysia (PAM) Sarly Adre Sarkum, together with AI transformation advisor and Chief Executive Officer of Futureverse Technologies, Rajiv Mathew.

Sarly, who is also the Chief Architecturalist of [SA]² – Sarly Adre Sarkum Architecture, spoke about Architects in the Age of AI and its Relevance in the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

Meanwhile, Rajiv, who has over 20 years in consulting and digital transformation, spoke on adapting and leading the AI Imperative for SME in Construction. 

The forum talks and panel discussions during the engaging showcase expounded on various topics on the use of AI in the industry. The impactful showcase also gave direct access to founders and key decision-makers to attendees.

Among some of the key topics from the 20 distinguished speakers at the showcase were Healing  Architecture & Emotional Wellbeing, The Future Home as a Healing Environment, AI Digitalisation in Real Estate & Construction and Small Team, Big Delivery - How AI Helped Us Deliver a Public Sector Pilot Project.

Five panel sessions discussed such topics as  AI & Productivity for SMEs, The Future of Human-Centered Living and Smart Buildings, Smarter Futures: AI, Robotics, Industry 5.0 and Digital Security, among others.

The showcase also featured AI-IN-ACTION-based presentations and live performances.

The three-day event was well attended by a variety of industry professionals, SME business owners, entrepreneurs, corporate professionals, decision-makers and members of the media.
