The Ajith Kumar GoKart Racing 2026 was proudly presented by the Pioneer Malaysia Ajith Fan Club recently. The event took place on May 23, starting at 3pm, at the LYL International Karting Circuit at Monkeys Canopy in Sungai Long, Cheras, Selangor.

Organiser Devendran K Panersilbam was very happy that hundreds of racing and movie enthusiasts visited the event despite the heavy rain. The event also awarded RM1,000 to the winner, RM750 to the second-placed driver, and RM500 to the third-placed driver.
"Despite the poor weather, the events continued, and many had fun," said Devendran. "We expect more fans from al over the region to take part next year. We will try to invite all Ajith fans from South-East Asia to visit us next year."
Devendran, who is President of the Ajith Fan Club in Malaysia, is also a well-known personality in the local arena as someone who has done many social events for the good of the people.
He said his journey into public service is deeply rooted in his upbringing and family values and his parents had instilled in him the belief that success is not just measured by personal achievement, but by how one gives back to society.

In 2009, motivated by his desire to contribute meaningfully to society and honour his family’s values, Devendran joined Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri (LHDN) as an Auxiliary Police officer.
Over 17 years, Devendran’s commitment and professionalism helped him rise to the rank of Corporal — a significant milestone, especially as the only Indian Auxiliary Police officer holding this rank within LHDN nationwide. His family has been his constant source of encouragement throughout his career, supporting him during demanding shifts, long hours, and challenging assignments.
Last year, when he received the Cemerlang (Excellence) commendation from LHDN, it was not only a personal achievement but also a proud moment for his entire family, who saw it as recognition of the values they had nurtured in him since childhood.
He is also currently sitting for his Bachelor of Management Studies at the Open University of Malaysia. That will allow him to hope for a better position in LHDN.

Under his leadership, the club has supported old folks’ homes, children’s orphanages, Tamil schools, and organised multiple blood donation drives — efforts that reflect the same compassion and responsibility his family taught him.
Devendran also hopes to conduct more such events and aims to continue to improve the association's social events and also help people in his area and also in the country, if possible, he said. Besides that, he said the association will also try its best to introduce more Tamil music, movies, and art for all the young students in the community.
"Studies is very important for young people. But the young people in the Indian community must also believe in and love their Tamil arts and history, besides studying Malaysian history and tradition. We will always strive to give the best of knowledge to the youngsters as it will help them to become better people in society," said Devendran.
