Brunei police detain vice activity suspects

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: Personnel of the Gambling Suppression and Vice Prevention Unit of the Criminal Investigation Department, Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) on Sunday (June 14) detained two local women on suspicion of involvement in immoral activities in separate raids in Kampong Salambigar and Kampong Lumapas in the Brunei-Muara District.

In the first operation, a 39-year-old local woman was arrested at a rented room in Kampong Salambigar on suspicion of involvement in immoral activities.

The second operation resulted in the arrest of a 29-year-old local woman in Kampong Lumapas, suspected of abetting and being involved in similar activities. Both suspects, along with items seized during the operations, were taken to the Gambling Suppression and Vice Prevention Unit office for further investigation.

The RBPF reaffirmed its commitment to combating vice-related activities and moral offences to preserve public order and community well-being.
