HANOI/HONG KONG (VnExpress): Alice Ho, the youngest daughter of late Macao gambling magnate Stanley Ho, has attracted attention for her striking appearance, distinctive fashion style, and impressive academic achievements.

The 27-year-old is the youngest daughter of the late Macau casino tycoon Stanley Ho (1921–2020) and his fourth wife, Leung On-kei. He was dubbed the "King of Gambling" by Chinese-language media for building a vast business empire in Macau. He had 17 children, and Alice was born when he was 78 years old.

Forbes estimated in 2025 that Leung had a net worth of US$2.3 billion. From an early age, she taught her daughter about investing and financial management.

She is widely regarded as Stanley Ho's most academically accomplished child.

At 18, she was admitted to the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the United States and completed her undergraduate degree in just three years instead of the typical four-year program. She also served as president of the MIT Student Association. Her brother, Mario Ho, is also an MIT graduate.

In 2021, she began a master's degree at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China. After graduating, she stayed on as a researcher and lecturer. Her work now centers on climate change, and she is a regular participant in United Nations events focused on sustainable development and environmental conservation.

Through her international work, she has formed close friendships with other high-achieving youths like Eileen Gu. Gu is the most decorated freestyle skier in Olympic history, with six medals from two Olympic appearances. Both have been honored numerous times for their contributions to society.

She, however, maintains a low profile when it comes to her private life and has never gone public with a boyfriend or partner.-- VnExpress
