Malaysia’s digital education industry continues to grow in line with the increasing demand for online learning. Recognising this opportunity, Aster Edu, which introduced the Aster Edu Licensing Programme in March 2026, is taking another bold step by offering a Tesla Model YL worth RM300,000 through its Licensee Tesla YL Campaign.

According to Aster Edu Co-Founder, Najmie Naharuddin, the campaign will run until the end of August this year and aims to attract more individuals to join the licensing programme.

“The Aster Edu Licensing Programme is an online education business licensing model that enables participants to operate a tuition business using the brand, system, and platform provided by Aster Edu.

“With more than 10 years of experience in the education industry, Aster Edu offers a proven and tested system designed to help entrepreneurs start a business with lower risk,” he said during a press conference held at the Tesla sales centre in Cyberjaya.

He added that interested participants only need to pay RM1,500 to obtain the licence and platform, which includes marketing support, student registration, customer service, and payment management through the system provided. This approach allows entrepreneurs to focus entirely on business growth without being burdened by academic operational matters.

“Anyone is eligible to join this programme. It is open to various groups, including school teachers, tutors, and working individuals who wish to generate income within the education industry,” he added.

The primary focus of the licensing programme is to help more people seeking side income and additional earnings through a one-time payment of RM1,500 with relatively low risk.

“The original programme fee is RM5,000, but in conjunction with the Merdeka campaign, the public can now join at a significantly lower fee while also standing a chance to win a Tesla Model YL,” he said.

Meanwhile, Aster Edu Founder Rafat Wajdy Muhammad explained that the Aster Edu Licensing Programme offers a profit-sharing model of 40% for every active student.

Based on the company’s current structure, participants have the potential to earn approximately RM35.60 per month for each student who pays a monthly fee of RM89 for four subjects. This recurring income continues as long as the student remains active in the learning programme.

“Aster Edu is the first digital tuition institution to offer a Tesla Model YL as an incentive, aimed at motivating and encouraging participants—whether existing or newly registered—to continue promoting the institution and helping more students gain access to quality education,” he said.

He further explained that the licensing programme also involves collaborations with tuition centres Maths Catch and Fateh Intelligent.

Aster Edu is targeting 3,000 registered licensees and aims to achieve sales of up to RM5 million. In addition to the grand prize, the campaign also offers 10 gold dinars to 10 monthly winners and RM500 cash prizes to 20 weekly winners. The total prize pool is valued at RM630,000.

Also present at the event were Aster Edu Principal Shahrin Zikri, Maths Catch Principal Cikgu Rajaei, and Fateh Intelligent Principal Ticer Liya.
